Leslie Stone joins Women's Health Associates
Leslie Stone, MSN, RNC, has joined the staff of Women’s Health
Associates as a nurse practitioner. Stone, a Knoxville native, received her bachelor of arts
degree with a major in health care and a minor in psychology from Maryville
College and her master of science degree in nursing from Vanderbilt University. Her nursing certification is in obstetric, gynecologic, and
neonatal care. “Patient education is a major part of empowering patients
to take care of themselves,” Stone says. “My professional interests include
family planning, infertility, and management of gynecological concerns.” Stone comes to Women’s Health Associates after serving
three years with the U.S. Air Force. Previously, she worked as primary care
provider to more than 300 female inmates at the Tennessee Prison for Women, and
she served as sexual assault nurse examiner for Metropolitan Nashville General
Hospital. Stone is married and has a daughter and son. Women’s Health Associates offers a comprehensive range of
services for women of all ages, specializing in obstetrics, gynecology and
primary health care. The practice has offices in Oak Ridge and west Knoxville
and serves women in Roane, Anderson, Scott, Morgan, Campbell, Loudon, and Knox
counties Members of the professional staff include Dr. Charles E.
Darling, Jr., and Dr. Brad Carter; nurse practitioners Kaye Bultemeier, PhD,
RNCS, and Barbara Petty, RNC, RD; and Debra Kitts, RDMS, a certified

Ridge office or 531-1400 for the Knoxville office. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 5
p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. In addition, the Oak
